Star Media To Film “Death To The Spies-2” Detective Story

Feb. 25 Star Media Company will begin filming an 8-series spy-military detective story “Death to the Spies-2”, scheduled to be screened on ICTV in Fall 2008 screening season. The film will be shot in the most picturesque parts of the Crimea (Koktebel, Inkerman, Bakhchisaray, Yevpatoriya etc.) and at Kyiv-based studios, the shootings will last till the late April.

ICTV channel and Star Media Company are willing to assist journalists presence at the studio to let you learn about the creation progress and interview the actors. All letters of concern will be accepted till the end of February.

Remind you that the first screening season of the 8-serie long detective story “Death to the Spies” had a great success in Russia and Ukraine. Strong scenario, nice actors work, the mix of genres – war, detective, drama and mystics – brought the picture a big success.

The sole rights to screening of “Death to the Spies-2” in Ukraine’s telespace belong to the ICTV Channel; in Russia people can watch the detective story on the “Perviy” (“The First”) channel.

“Death to the Spies-2” spy military mini serial goes on story about the events of the Great Patriotic War, particularly talking about the opposition of the fascist intelligence service and the Soviet counter-intelligence in the time of preparations of the conference of the allies states heads in Yalta.
